Hi, I’m Annie Satalich—a UC Santa Barbara graduate with a degree in Geography and an emphasis in Geographic Information Science. I’m passionate about spatial data, digital mapping, and transforming geospatial technologies into meaningful insights.
With experience across both public and private sector internships, I’ve contributed to projects ranging from suburban development analysis to mapping social media activity during natural disasters. I bring a strong foundation in ArcGIS, remote sensing, and cartographic design, paired with a curious, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Whether supporting engineering teams with detailed geospatial data or conducting remote sensing analysis, I believe in the power of location intelligence to tell stories, drive solutions, and inform better decision-making.
Outside of work, I enjoy running and hiking around Santa Barbara with my partner and our dogs. I also love sewing, crocheting, and volunteering. I’m an active member of the Santa Barbara Fiber Arts Guild and Summerland Beautiful, and I’m passionate about contributing to my community. I believe charitable efforts are essential to building safe, inclusive, and vibrant spaces.
Let’s build something together!
